Arriving on quiet, unpaved Hinckley Lane off Cliff Road, you are greeted by the timeless silhouette of The Nantucket Sandcastle: weathered gray cedar shingles, crisp white trim, blooming summer gardens, and the carved quarterboard sign by our white picket fence. Unlike busy thoroughfares closer to town, Hinckley Lane sees almost no through-traffic—just neighbors strolling with beach towels and flip-flops toward the private sandy path to Cliff Beach only 200 yards from our front gate. Meanwhile, the cobblestone streets, shops, and restaurants of Downtown Nantucket are an easy one-mile walk or bike ride along the scenic Cliff Road bike path.
